Michael Ridloff is the Head of Investment Originations at CanAm Enterprises and is responsible for sourcing investment opportunities at CanAm. Prior to his role at CanAm, Mr. Ridloff was a Director in the International Finance group at Deutsche Pfandbriefbank (PBB), where he was responsible for building and leading a new mezzanine lending business in the U.S. He has over 20 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry as an investor, developer, and lender. Before joining PBB, Mr. Ridloff was the CIO for the U.S. at Vanke US, the U.S. subsidiary of China Vanke, Co. Ltd, one of China’s largest developers and a global Fortune 300 corporation. In that leadership role, he was responsible for the firm’s investment and asset management teams, executing on developments, investments, joint ventures and equity & debt financings. He also held a strategic planning position for the U.S. business. Mr. Ridloff has previously worked in institutional and entrepreneurial roles at firms including BlackRock, Eurohypo, DTZ, Madison Capital and Lane Capital Partners. He received his B.S. in Economics at the Wharton School and his M.B.A from Columbia Business School.
